“I’ve had enough”
The starting of WWE’s complete package’s theme, Wade Barrett. Once dubbed as the next breakout superstar, Wade now finds himself in troubled waters of the WWE.Wade Barrett had run rampage over the past year. After winning the first season of NXT, Wade Barrett did the other so-called ‘rookies’ a favor and got them to the Raw roster with him. Debuting a new group called the Nexus, Wade terrorised many superstars, the boss and many legends. He had achieved a rookie could, main evented different pay-per-views, got WWE title matches and made WWE’s resident Fruity Pebbles, John Cena his slave.
But as one bad apple spoils the whole cart, Wade Barrett was known to give orders and fellow rookies thought that it was bad for them. So, they removed him.
But, Wade being a rebellion, made a new stable involving new stablemates, former Nexus members Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater and also got the powerhouse, Ezekiel Jackson. This group had been little dominant, but got Wade Barrett and Intercontinental title reign and Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel the tag team titles. They even had a match at Wrestlemania, which they ultimately lost.
Wade Barrett, for the first time in his career then, went by himself. He had a mediocre IC reign before submitting to Big Zeke in a not-so-newsworthy feud.
Then, Barrett had a feud against Daniel Bryan, which produced great matches, but it was over very quick as WWE had other plans with Bryan. Now,WWE’s biggest asset, Wade Barrett does not have any feud to participate in. He is occasionally on Smackdown, that too fighting jobbers or not fighting them at all.
Now, Barrett finds himself in trouble. Barrett has firsthand realized that, “If you climb the ladder pretty quick, you can also fall down, pretty quick”.
Wade Barrett is not a stable leader, but a valued superstar. He needs to go on his own and achieve great things. But WWE has dropped the ball with him. Now, we have a problem which we need to rectify.
WWE needs to give this British Bare knuckle champion a push. If I were a member of WWE Creative, here’s how I’ll give him a push. Note that no fantasy booking is here, only reality. This is planned till WM28:

Wade Barrett’s Push
I would put him in a feud with Daniel Bryan again. Since, Bryan has nothing to do and so does Barrett, they feud. Wade is booked to be a guy who can only defeat superstars low to his status, and not above. They have a match at Vengeance which is won by Barrett.
Barrett keeps boasting about this victory until Bryan is sick of it and challenges Barrett to a match at Survivor Series. Barrett accepts, on one condition. If Barrett wins, the MITB briefcase is his. Daniel, confidently agrees.
They both have a good 10-12 minute match with near falls, high spots etc. But then, Wade wins dirty like hand on the ropes, or Daniel’s foot under the rope etc.
Then, Wade Barrett keeps boasting and DB keeps challenging but Barrett keeps neglecting. But Long makes the match at TLC in a ladder match.
It is a proper ladder match but Wade wins from the help of any random heel who can start his feud with Bryan.
Then, Barrett participates in the Rumble match and his no. is 37 (if they go with the 40-man rumble; otherwise number would be 27) but as he makes his way into the ring, Jericho returns and beats him down and enters the rumble at his spot and wins it!
Due to this, Wade is booked as injured (kayfabe) and Randy Orton is the WHC. Jericho decides to go after his belt since he was taken out by Randy via a Punt. Their clash is set while Wade Barrett is nursing his (kayfabe) injury.
Wrestlemania arrives, their clash is set. Jericho defeats Orton in a hard fought battle involving many RKO’s, Code breakers etc. But then,
‘I’ve had enough’
Wade Barrett is champion!
